Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using the PDFluent SDK or website, you agree to these terms. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Licence Grant

Upon payment, Inovation Trigger BV grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the PDFluent SDK according to the tier you purchased (Lite, Plus, Professional, or Unlimited). The licence is limited to the number of developers and projects specified in your tier.

3. Perpetual Fallback

When you pay for a subscription year, you receive a perpetual licence for the version of the SDK available at the end of that year. If you do not renew, you may continue to use that version indefinitely. Only access to updates and support ceases.

4. Trial Licence

Trial licences are valid for 30 days and are intended for evaluation purposes only. Production deployment requires a paid licence. After trial expiry, the SDK will return a clear error on initialisation.

5. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Redistribute the SDK as a standalone product (OEM rights require the Unlimited tier).
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the SDK.
  • Remove or alter any licence notices, watermarks, or proprietary markings.
  • Share licence keys with parties outside your organisation.
  • Use the SDK in a way that violates applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

The PDFluent SDK and all associated documentation, code, and materials remain the intellectual property of Inovation Trigger BV. Your licence does not transfer ownership.

7. Payment

All prices are in EUR, exclusive of VAT. Invoices are due within 14 days of issue (NET-14), or NET-30 for Enterprise customers with a purchase order. Failure to pay within the grace period may result in licence deactivation.

8. Support

Paid licences include email support with response times as specified in your tier (48h for Professional, 24h for Unlimited). Support covers SDK-specific issues only β€” not general programming assistance or third-party integration debugging.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

The SDK is provided β€œas is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inovation Trigger BV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the SDK in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may terminate your licence if you breach these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the SDK and delete all copies. Your perpetual fallback rights survive termination only if termination is due to non-renewal (not breach).

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in the Netherlands.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to active licence holders at least 30 days before taking effect.
